Library Card Any child or adult who lives, works, owns property, or attends school in Cheyenne County is eligible for a free library card. Organizations, too, may apply for a free library card.
To receive a card, fill out a Borrower Registration form at the library. All you need is proof of your current, correct address. A parent or legal guardian's signature is required before a library card will be issued to a borrower under age 18.
The Library charges $3.00 for a replacement card. |

Checking out materials
Checking out is fast and easy. With your library card, at any one time, a maximum of 20 items may be borrowed. The limitations are as follows:
* Books: 15 * Talking books/CD: 5 * Videos/DVD: 5 * Magazines: 5
All items check out for 2 weeks, except videos/DVD, which circulate for one week.
Patrons may renew, or extend, the checkout time of an item once, providing the item has not been reserved for another patron. |

HOLIDAY CLOSINGS The Library is closed on the following days …
New Year’s Day Presidents’ Day Good Friday Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Columbus Day Veteran’s Day Thanksgiving Holiday (Thursday, Friday & Saturday) Christmas Day
The Library also closes at 6 pm on the days preceding Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day. |
