HOMEBOUND DELIVERY SERVICE
Do you love to read but can no longer get to the Library? The Sidney Public Library is now offering a free personal book delivery service….
Who can use this service? Any resident who is unable to come to the Library due to advanced age, long-term illness, temporary or extended physical disability is eligible. You must also reside within the city limits of Sidney.
What is available? Books, Large print books, Books on Tape/CD, Videos/DVD.
Can I ask for specific materials? Yes, just tell our staff what you would like when you call. Be sure to ask for assistance in choosing materials that suit your needs. Our staff is ready to help you!
How can I get started? You must have a Sidney Public Library card and be in good standing. If you do not have a library card, just call Vickie and she will set you up with a card and take you requests at that time.
How do I make a request? You may either call the Library at 254-3110 or email Vickie, our Bookmobile/Homebound Delivery Service Librarian at vickie@sidneypubliclibrary.org. Requests must b made no later than noon on the Friday before delivery. (See schedule above)
